MyPoints
Another robust survey site that is similar to Swagbucks is MyPoints.

Now for some truth…
MyPoints is not one of the best survey sites to make money as a teen because the payout is pretty low and each point is worth less than $0.01.
I rather use other survey sites to make money but MyPoints allows you to make money easily in several different ways so it’s worth checking out.
You have to be at least 13 years old and reside in the U.S.A or Canada to sign up for MyPoints.

Pinecone Research
A pretty cool survey site that pays in cash is Pinecone Research.
What makes Pinecone Research so awesome is that they pay $3 for every single survey you take!

The main difference between these two is that to become a full-service shopper you will need a car since you will have to make deliveries, but you will also make more as a full-service shopper.
So, if you choose to work for Instacart you will have to shop for groceries for people and if you are a full-service shopper then you will also do the deliveries.
Instacart is a great gig to make some extra money on the side. It’s free to sign up so check it out if you are interested.
TaskRabbit
If you have certain skills such as handyman skills, graphic design skills, programming skills, art skills, etc… you can take gigs on TaskRabbit to make some extra money.
However, you do have to be an older teen to take gigs on TaskRabbit. The minimum age you can be is 18 years old.

So, yea, Handy has physical jobs but if you don’t mind it then you should definitely check it out!
Handy states that you can make $22 an hour as a cleaner and $45 an hour as a handyman, which is flipping awesome!
You do have to be at least 18 years old to sign up for Handy but if you are over 18 years old then I highly recommend checking out Handy.
Virtual Assistant

By becoming a virtual assistant you can make money in your own time from the comfort of your home!
There is a high demand for virtual assistants and you can find a job fast by checking online job posting sites.
Check out sites like TaskRabbit, Upwork, Guru, etc…
Reseller
Absolutely one of the best ways for teens to make money is to start a reselling business!
As a teen, you can resell just about anything that people are known to collect like sneakers, toys, baseball cards, fashion items, tech, etc…
It doesn’t have to be expensive stuff either. You can get basic household items like chairs, lamps, tables, etc… and flip them for a profit!
You can go to yard sales or check Craigslist for cheap or even free items that you can sell to make money!
It’s super easy but you have to be smart when you resell to maximize your profits.

However, this course is pricey so you should definitely get your parents involved before making any decisions, especially if you are under 18 years old.

If you want to know how to make money when you are 15 then this is a great way to score some extra cash!
If you are good at a specific subject then help those in need and get paid in return.
You can check with your school to see if they need any tutors or you can check with other tutoring services.
There is always the option to go freelance and start tutoring on your own, offering your services to those in need.
Party Character
An interesting way to make money as a teen is to dress up as characters for kids’ birthday parties.
This gig is definitely for everyone but if you like being around kids and don’t mind being the life of the party then consider taking on this gig.
It’s a pretty good way to make some extra cash fast as a teenager.
Washing Cars
One of the most well-known ways to make some extra money as a teen is to wash cars for a fee.
All you need is a bucket, some soap, and a car brush to start this gig. That’s it!
It’s a low-cost gig that you can start doing right now.
But…
It’s not one of the highest paying gigs for teens since washing a car takes a good amount of time and it is manual work.
Plus, you can’t charge much for a car wash since they are pretty cheap at a car wash, to begin with.
However, washing cars is a great way to make some fast cash because it is really easy to start and you can start at pretty much any age.
Uhaul Customer Service Job
If you are a teen that wants a legit work from home job from a reputable company then this might just be the job for you.
Uhaul has customer service jobs available for teens which will allow you to get paid from home!
You will need a computer and phone to take calls from customers and you will need to be at least 16 years old with a High School diploma or G.E.D.
So yes you have to be an older teen to get this job but if you would like to get your foot into the working world then this can be a great option for you!
Amazon Mechanical Turk
Another really simple way to make some extra money online as a teenager is to take surveys and other gigs on Amazon Mechanical Turk.
Amazon Mechanical Turk is a crowdsourcing site where people list easy to do jobs but the downside is that the jobs are really low paying.
For example, you can get transcription jobs on Mechanical Turk that are easy to do and only take about 30 seconds each but they only pay $0.05 each.
This translates to $6 an hour which is pretty bad.
But…
There are methods to complete these tasks faster. So, let’s say you can complete each task in 10 seconds now but the pay remains the same.
This translates into $18 which is really good!
However, you have to be 18 years old to sign up for Amazon Mechanical Turk.

Cleaner
We already went over Handy where you can become a cleaner and make extra money on the side but you have to be at least 18 to work with Handy.
If you are under 18, you can still get cleaning jobs by simply asking around your neighborhood.
Your neighbors, family, and friends might have some gigs available where you can make some sweet cash.
It never hurts to ask around!
Retail Worker
If you are 16 then you can start working in the real world and getting a retail job is one of the first stops for most teenagers.
You can check with local stores or in the nearest mall for job opportunities and fill out a few applications.
It might suck getting a “real job” but it’s part of growing up and you can make a good amount of money!
Doordash
If you are at least 18 years old and you have a car then Doordash is a great gig for teens!
You can signup to become a Doordash Driver here and simply deliver food to people and get paid for it!
The great thing about Doordash is that you get to work whenever you want! Just hop onto the app when you are ready to work and sign off when you are finished.

According to Indeed, Uber Eats drivers make an average of $19.99 an hour which is really good for a part-time teen job!
You do have to be 18 to deliver with Uber Eats but you do not absolutely need a car because you can deliver items by bicycle if your city permits it!

A golf caddy is pretty much just someone who drives rich people (not only rich people but they most likely are) around a golf course and carries their golf clubs.
It’s a pretty neat gig because all you have to do is drive around in a golf cart which can be pretty fun.
Plus you might even get some sweet tips!
The downside is that this job is only available in good weather.

Affiliate marketing is best done with a Blog, YouTube channel, or podcast but it’s still possible to make money with affiliate marketing without these things.
For example, you can set up a Pinterest account and then create pins with affiliate links to make money.
You can use affiliate programs or simply products/services with referral links like Dosh or Survey Junkie.
Along with Pinterest, you can use other social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc…
This is one of the best ways to make money online as a teenager!
Etsy Store
If you are creative and love DIY products, why not open an Etsy store and start selling your creations?!
You can honestly make $1,000’s easily by having an Etsy store.
If you want to have your own Etsy store then you will have to be 18 or older but you can use Etsy if you are 13 or older with your parents as the account owner.
The great thing about this is that starting an Etsy store is absolutely free but there are listing fees and transaction fees to be aware of. Learn more here.
