If we do this for these two surveys we see that the survey that pays only $0.50 has an hourly pay of $10.00 while the survey that pays $2.00 has an hourly pay of $6.00!
So, in this case, the survey that pays $0.50 is the better option because you are making more money for your time!

The pay on CashKarma varies widely, there are surveys available for 50 points up to 1,000 points (of course the longer the survey the more points you will get).
Also, CashKarma has a pretty weird point structure, here’s what I mean…
There is no set ratio for points to cash, it depends on what reward you want and how many points you have.
For example, you can get a $5 Amazon gift card for 6,000 points ($0.0008 for each point) or you can wait and get a $25 Amazon gift card for 25,000 points ($0.001 for each point).
If you choose PayPal you will need 12,500 points for $10 ($0.0008 for each point) or you can wait and get a $50 PayPal transfer for 50,000 points ($0.001 for each point).
So, it’s definitely better to hold onto your points until you get to the higher value rewards since your points are worth more.

I admit that this is pretty long for the pay but on Poll Pay, you will be able to find some good deals.
There will be times when you don’t qualify for a survey and Poll Pay will give you $0.01 for your attempt, it’s not much but it’s something for doing nothing!

However…

Respondent works a bit differently than other survey sites because they focus on high-quality surveys geared towards professionals.

Once you complete your profile you will be at the Marketplace screen where all the available surveys will be listed.

There is always the option to filter the surveys by only remote surveys if in-person surveys are not an option for you.

Some surveys on Survey Time take around 10 – 15 minutes to complete which isn’t too bad for $1 but some take less than 5 minutes which is great!
All you need to do is sign up for a free Survey Time account and then fill out your profile to get qualified for surveys.
Then just start completing surveys, that’s it!
There is no minimum threshold for payments and Survey Time deposits the money directly into your PayPal account automatically after you complete one survey.

Use Amazon MTurk
A pretty popular and trustworthy platform is MTurk.
The reason that MTurk is so trustworthy is that it is owned and operated by Amazon.
I have to admit that MTurk isn’t as great as it used to be but users are still earning $1,000’s a year from this platform alone.
You can take surveys on MTurk as well as complete micro-tasks like transcriptions, image detection, data cleanup, translations, etc…
Most tasks on MTurk pay around $0.01 to $0.50 which is really low but a lot of tasks only take a minute or two to complete.

Another great platform that you can use to make money online from surveys is User Testing.
User Testing is a pretty cool platform where you get to test sites, software, products, etc… and then take surveys about your experience.
They claim that you can make up to $60 per survey which is true but you will most likely get paid $10 per survey, which is still not bad at all!
The surveys on User Testing ranges from $3 to $60 per survey.
UserTesting is a high paying survey platform and this is due to their in-depth method for survey taking.
To take surveys or tests on UserTesting you will need to download their software on your computer and then record yourself testing a website.
So the software will record your screen to see your actions and then you will need to provide feedback by speaking.
They are much more involved than other survey platforms and they don’t have many tests available so you can only expect to get 1 or 2 tests a day.
I recommend checking them out but not totally relying on UserTesting to make money. Pair them up with another survey site like Respondent, Swagbucks, or Survey Junkie.
