I mean they are super easy to use and you can take surveys on your own time! It’s an awesome way to make a little bit of cash on the side.
However, the big problem with some survey sites is that they have a high limit that you need to reach before you can cash out your money!
For example, InboxDollars is a survey site that I enjoy using but you are only allowed to cash out to a gift card once you have $30 in your account!
Now, this might not seem like a big deal but when you are making a few cents per survey it can take a long time to reach this threshold.
This is why I put together this awesome list of the 14 best survey sites with low minimum payout!

Before we get the list, I would just like to say that all of the survey sites on this list are legit and safe to use.
However, I do recommend some over others so I’ll quickly list out my favorite survey sites that you can use to make money in your free time!

Survey Junkie ($10 Minimum)
One of the best survey sites that you can use to make some extra money is Survey Junkie!
Survey Junkie will not allow you to quit your job but it will give you some extra money that you can use to pay bills, buy gas, buy food, etc…
With Survey Junkie, you can look to make $0.50 to $3 per survey, and with a minimum payout of $10, you can pretty much get paid every day!
You can also make up to $75 for a survey with Survey Junkie but just know that these surveys will be much longer than the $0.50 to $3 surveys.
The longer and more detailed the survey is, the higher the pay!
You will only spend a few minutes completing a survey so if you have some spare time each day then just hop onto Survey Junkie and make some sweet cash.
Once you accumulate 1,000 points, which is equivalent to $10, you can cash out to PayPal or a number of gift cards!
As you can see, 1 point is equal to 1 cent, definitely not a lot but as you keep taking surveys they sure do add up.
When you sign up to Survey Junkie you will get 25 points (25 cents) just for signing up!
Then once you complete your profile you get another 50 points, confirming your email gets you 25 points, and taking a tour of the Survey Junkie system gets you 5 points.
Doing all this, which should take you less than 2 minutes will get you $1.05!
Like I said, not a lot at all! But look at it like this…
Let’s say you took 2 minutes to get this $1.05. if you calculate it in terms of hourly pay, it will equate to making $31.50 an hour, which is not bad at all!

Swagbucks ($3 Minimum)
One of my favorite survey sites to make some extra money is Swagbucks and there is only a $3 minimum needed to cash out!
On Swagbucks, you can cash out to gift cards for places like Amazon or you can choose to cash out to PayPal cash.
Swagbucks is a legit survey site where you can make money in your free time!
Along with surveys, you can also watch videos, discover items and also shop for cash-back to get Swagbucks points to be redeemed for gift cards.
I recommend using the Swagbucks app to complete surveys or watch videos to make some money in your free time like when you are watching TV or on your commute home (if you take public transportation).
So, sign up for Swagbucks here and start earning money in your free time!
Remember that it only takes $3 (300 Swagbucks points) to cash out to a gift card such as an Amazon gift card but if you want PayPal cash you will need $25 (2,500 Swagbucks points).

ySense ($3 Minimum)
A huge survey platform that I recommend using to make some extra money is ySense!
ySense started in 2007 and they have paid out over $38 million to their members over these years!
The great thing about ySense is that they are available in most countries! It is easier to list the countries they don’t support rather than what countries are supported.
Along with surveys, you can make money by watching videos, playing games, downloading apps, testing products, or referring friends!
Surveys are definitely the best way to make money on ySense and they are one of the few legit survey sites that pay cash!
Each survey pays in a range from $0.25 to $2, which is not bad compared to other survey sites!
ySense is one of the best survey sites with low minimum payout of $3 but there are a few cashout options that you should know.
On ySense there are many different gift cards to choose from with the most popular being Amazon which starts at only $3!
Most gift cards have a minimum cashout limit of either $5 or $10. For PayPal, you will need at least $10 to cash out.
I recommend cashing out to an Amazon gift card because it is the cheapest way to cash out!
Since ySense is available in most countries and there is a low minimum payout I highly recommend signing up for ySense!
PrizeRebel ($2 Minimum)
Another survey site with great reviews that you can use to make money is PrizeRebel!
PrizeRebel has been around since 2007 and they have paid their members over $17 million in rewards!
There are over 8 million members on PrizeRebel so you know you will be joining a trustworthy platform.
The signup process is super simple and there are many surveys available to take to make money.
PrizeRebel is one of the best survey sites with low minimum payout since you only need to reach a $2 threshold to cash out to an Amazon gift card.
Once you get to $5 you can cash out to PayPal (which is my favorite option).
Just like Swagbucks, on PrizeRebel you can also make money watching videos and doing certain tasks!

Pinecone Research ($1 Minimum)
With Pinecone Research you can make $3 per survey!
The downside of Pinecone Research is that there are not that many survey opportunities, this is why I always recommend joining multiple survey sites.
So, when you run out of surveys on Pinecone Research you can hop on another site like Survey Junkie to keep on earning!
Like many other survey sites, Pinecone Research works on a point-based system but their system is super easy to understand.
Each survey on Pinecone Research pays out 300 points which equates to $3, it’s that simple!
It’s a breath of fresh air because you know exactly how much you will be paid for each survey you take.
A really cool option that Pinecone Research offers is product testing where they will send you either food or other products to test and you will get a follow-up survey to complete that is worth $3!
While you do not get paid to test the product, you will get free food or a free product to keep!
The thing I love about Pinecone Research is that they are one of the few survey sites with low cash-out limit of $1 for PayPal and $3 for gift cards.
Just know that your first $3 earned on Pinecone Research will be mailed to you as a check to verify your account. This is only a one-time occurrence.

Qmee (No Minimum)
All of these survey sites with low minimum payout are awesome but what makes Qmee great is that they are one of the few no minimum payout apps!
Qmee is another survey site you can use to make money online and while they are a pretty new company, starting in 2012, they are a legit survey site.
Along with taking surveys, you can make money with Qmee by browsing the web with their browser extension.
With the browser extension just search the web like you normally would and then you will be prompted with ads that you should click on and view to make some money!
The great thing about Qmee is that they are one of the few legit survey sites that pay cash instead of points that need to be redeemed!
But…
The bad thing is that the payout-to-time ratio is pretty bad on Qmee. For example, there are surveys paying $0.37 for 13-minute surveys.
Qmee is definitely not a scam so I recommend at least trying it out to see if it works for you.
As I mentioned, Qmee has no minimum payout so you can cash out to PayPal at any time or wait until you have $5 to cash out to a gift card.
While Qmee is one of the few no minimum payout sites, I don’t recommend using this survey platform alone to make money.
I recommend using a better survey site like Survey Junkie or ySense along with Qmee to make money.

Toluna ($10 Minimum)
Another legit survey site is Toluna which you can use to make money in your free time!
But…
Toluna is not the best survey site by any means. Their surveys usually pay a lot less than other survey sites like Survey Junkie or ySense.
However, there seem to be a lot of surveys available so you will always have a way to make money on Toluna!
Toluna, like many other survey sites, works on a point system where you are awarded points for completing surveys.
The great thing about Toluna is that they give you 500 points for just signing up!
But…
The bad thing is that each point is worth less than a cent! Each point is worth around 0.00033 of a cent. Yup, not good at all!
So, your 500 points for signing up is really worth around 16 cents.
On Toluna, many surveys are varying from 15 points to 50,0000 points depending on the length and depth of the survey.
Toluna requires you to have 30,000 points or $10 to cash out to several gift cards for places like Starbucks, Panera, or Kohls.
If you want an Amazon gift card you will need 75,000 points ($25) or for cashing out to PayPal you will need 95,000 points ($30).
Even though Toluna is one of the few survey sites with low minimum payout I don’t recommend them for making money with surveys, it is just not worth your time.
If you reside in the U.S, Canada, or Australia I recommend you use Survey Junkie to make money with surveys.
However, if you reside in any other country like India, the Philippines, China, etc… I recommend signing up for ySense.
Ipsos i-say ($5 Minimum)
A survey site that is much better than Toluna is Ipsos i-Say, which is a strange name but a pretty good survey platform.
You can set up an account with Ipsos i-Say in a few minutes and you will be on your way to making money from surveys!
The thing that makes Ipsos i-Say a great survey site is that they are one of the highest-paying sites you can use.
Ipsos i-Say uses a point system for rewarding its members and one point is equal to one cent.
This might not seem like much at all but surveys usually pay out around 90 points (90 cents) with the range being from 45 points to 200 points.
Once you accumulate 500 points you can cash out to a $5 gift card to places like Amazon, Walmart, or Target.
To cash out to PayPal you will need 1,530 points which equals $15.
With that said…
I have seen a lot of bad reviews about Ipsos i-Say about things like no longer getting surveys, deactivating accounts, site issues, delayed payments, etc…
So please use this site with caution. I never had any issues with Ipsos i-Say but I can’t say with certainty that you will not either.
This is why I always recommend signing up for multiple survey sites with my favorites being Survey Junkie, Swagbucks, and ySense.
Panelpolls ($10 Minimum)
A pretty cool survey site with a low minimum payout is Panelpolls, which is a survey site geared towards families!
Panelpolls is only open to U.S residents but it is open to users of all ages! Users under 15 need to be under their parents’ account.
You are then sent surveys via email to complete to make money but some users say that surveys are sent infrequently.
There are also other ways to make money like watching videos, playing games, and testing websites.
You will be awarded points which you can exchange for gift cards or a check.
The minimum payout in Panelpolls is 10,000 points which equals $10. You will also be able to cash out to several gift cards with 10,000 points.
If you would like a check you would need to accumulate 20,0000 points ($20) to cash out to a check.
This means that one point is only worth 0.001 of a cent which is pretty bad and won’t make you much money but it’s worth a try.
Panelpolls can be a great way for kids to make some extra money but it is not one of my recommended survey sites for adults.
E-Poll ($5 Minimum)
If you are a fan of music, movies, and TV shows then E-Poll might be the perfect survey site for you!
E-Poll is a survey site with surveys only relating to the entertainment industry.
Surveys are sent via email and they also have a monthly drawing where you can win money each month!
An interesting thing about E-Poll is that even though they are a point-based system, the more points you accumulate the more they are worth!
Not by much, but it’s pretty cool.
So, 3,750 points are worth $5 which means 1 point is equal to 0.0013 of a cent.
But…
10,500 points are worth $20 which means 1 point is equal to 0.0019 of a cent.
Not amazing by any means but this just means that the more you work the more a point is worth!
Speaking of points, the minimum points you need to cash out is 3,750 ($5) which will get you several gift cards or a deposit to PayPal.
If you are a fan of the entertainment industry check out E-Poll and make some extra money today! They are one of the most interesting survey sites with a low cash-out limit.
Pollpass ($5 Minimum)
An interesting survey site that I came across is Pollpass, here’s why…
Pollpass is a bit different from other survey sites because instead of the traditional question and answer format, Pollpass uses an A.I chatbot to get the information.
So, instead of it feeling like taking a test, it will feel like you are having a conversation and you will get paid for it.
This way you won’t get bored and you will be able to make more money!
However, these conversations can get pretty long with the average ones being between 5 – 10 minutes.
Pollpass works on a point system and you can look to get around 40 – 80 points per conversation.
You need 5,000 points to cash out to a $5 Amazon gift card or PayPal cash. This means that 1 point is equal to .001 of a cent.
While each point is not worth much, Pollpass is one of the few survey sites with low minimum payout at $5!
If you are looking for a different survey site with a low minimum payout then check out PollPass.
MyPoints ($10 Minimum)
If you are looking for another survey site to make some money on the side you might want to check out MyPoints!
They have been around since 1996, so you know they are doing something right.
Along with making money from surveys, you can also make money by watching videos, shopping, reading emails, searching the web, playing games, etc…
As you can see, there are many ways to make money on MyPoints and there will always be opportunities to make money on MyPoints!
Plus, when you sign up with my link you will get $5 for free after you complete 5 surveys!
However…
There are some complaints that MyPoints surveys do not pay much but from what I see, there are some bad surveys and some good ones so you just need to look around.
Also, their point structure is a bit strange. For example, a $3 Amazon gift card is worth 480 points on MyPoints.
This means that 1 point equals $0.00625!
I like to see survey sites with 1 point equal to 1 cent like Survey Junkie but this is the point structure in MyPoints.
With that said…
MyPoints is not a scam at all! There are better options out there like Swagbucks or Survey Junkie but I do think MyPoints is worth a try.
With a cash-out limit of only $3, MyPoints is one of the best survey sites with low minimum payout!
But…
If you would like to cash out to PayPal, you would need 3,970 points which are worth around $25.
Remember that if you sign up with my link you will get $5 for free when complete 5 surveys!
Tellwut ($10 Minimum)
Another legit survey site that you can use to make money is Tellwut!
Tellwut is an interesting survey site because they actually pay you to create surveys as well as completing surveys.
Your survey will not always be approved and you are only allowed to submit two surveys a week but if they do get approved you will earn 15 to 20 points.
Most surveys on Tellwut will only earn you 5 to 15 points which is not much at all!
Each point on Tellwut is worth .0025 of a cent which is pretty bad compared to another site like Survey Junkie.
However, the surveys are pretty short and users say that the surveys are pretty interesting and fun.
Once you accumulate 4,000 points you can cash out to a $10 Amazon gift card or a $10 Tango card for 4,500 points.
At a minimum payout of $10, Tellwut is one of the few survey sites with low minimum payout.

PaidViewpoint ($15 Minimum)
One of my favorite survey sites is PaidViewpoint because they are available in every country and they will never disqualify you from a survey!
It’s so frustrating taking a survey and then after a few questions, you are disqualified for whatever reason.
With PaidViewpoint, this never happens. Never!
Also, you will get $1 just for signing up and completing the registration process which takes less than two minutes!
Once you sign up to PaidViewpoint you should go to your TraitScore where you will be given some surveys about yourself that you can take which get between 3 to 10 cents each.
After that, you will have to wait for new surveys to become available to you.
One tip I can give you is to constantly improve your “TraitScore” as it can qualify you for more surveys.
Best of all, PaidViewpoint pays in cash not points like other survey sites.
One of the biggest downsides is that PaidViewpoint has a minimum cashout limit of $15, which is higher than other survey sites on this list.
Another thing is that you have to wait until a survey is given to you, so I recommend signing up for Survey Junkie or ySense to make money while you wait for a survey.
When you reach the $15 threshold you can cash out to PayPal or choose from an Amazon or Walmart gift card.
PaidViewpoint is one of my favorite survey sites because they are available worldwide and they are one of the best paying survey sites so I highly recommend signing up to PaidViewpoint!
Conclusion
As you know by now, survey sites will not make you rich but they are a great way to make some extra pocket money in your free time!
The great thing about survey sites is that you can do them anywhere and at any time as long as you have an internet connection.
I recommend doing these survey sites when you are watching TV, on public transportation, on your lunch break, etc…
